Processing times
The processing times via EMAIL of our certificates are:
- 24 working hours for urgent "certificates" extracted from ANPR, no extracts or deeds
- approximately 15 working days calculated from the day following receipt of the delegation for non-apostilled documents and after the year 1925;
- Not defined for documents with apostille (usually it takes us about 40 working days, but timing is not guaranteed )
- Not defined for documents prior to 1925, as each municipality has a different time frame which can vary up to a maximum of 6 months
The delivery of the document in PAPER format is managed by DHL or Poste Italiane, therefore, we do not assume any responsibility in case of delay or loss of the shipment of the document.
Description
The birth certificate, birth extract and multilingual birth extract can be requested provided that the correct data is known and a power of attorney is available.
The full copy of the birth certificate, however, can only be issued to the interested party or to a person with a legally relevant interest.
To obtain these documents, it is necessary to be delegated by the subject or by one of the two parents in the case of a minor, or by a person with a legally relevant interest.
The delegation form will be sent via email after completing the order.
To request the certificate, simply send your identity document and fill out the form providing the following information:
- Name;
- Surname;
- Date of birth;
- Municipality and province of birth.

- Birth certificate registration number certifying the birth.
The birth certificate is the declaration of a public official that certifies the birth of a natural person. The document (birth certificate) has value of truthfulness and regularity of the information contained in it as it is signed by the municipal official and has unlimited value throughout the national territory.

Information contained in the birth certificate
- Name and Surname;
- Date of birth;
- Place of birth;
- Gender (indicated by the wording “was born” or “was born”);
- Birth certificate registration number certifying the birth;
- Maternity and paternity;
- Information on the person's marital status (e.g. appointment of guardianship/interdiction/marriage/divorce, etc.)
Information contained in the multilingual birth certificate
- Name,
- Surname,
- Sex,
- Maternity and paternity;
- Date and place of birth;
The only difference with the “Italian” birth certificate is that the multilingual certificate is drawn up by the municipality according to a “standard” model, valid and recognized in all countries that have signed the Vienna Convention of '76, namely: Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, France, Germany, Croatia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Moldova, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey. It does not require translation and usually does not contain annotations.
NB To legalize the document, the Birth Extract and the Multilingual Birth Extract can be apostilled by the Prefecture competent for the territory. If you want to have the document apostilled, just select in the form "request with apostille" and the request will arrive directly to our systems.
Information contained in the full copy of the birth certificate
The full copy of the birth certificate is the photocopy of the original birth certificate drawn up directly by the civil status officer of the municipality at the time of the "birth declaration". The full copy of the birth certificate contains the following information:
- Name;
- Surname;
- Sex;
- Place and date of birth;
- Marriage;
- Residence;
- Citizenship;
- Relationship (including possibly deceased) with the addition of the personal details of the person who declared the birth.
- Any events that occurred and were recorded by the municipality during the life of the natural person.
Urgent Birth Certificates
Urgent birth certificates are extracted from the ANPR (National Resident Population Registry)
