Processing times

The processing times via EMAIL of our certificates are:

- Approximately 3/7 working days for documents processed urgently (we recommend contacting us to confirm processing times before choosing urgency);

- approximately 15 working days for non-urgent and non-apostilled certificates;

- Approximately 40 working days for certificates with apostille.

Description

The AIRE certificate can be requested by anyone, provided that they know the personal data of the individual for whom they intend to obtain the document, provided that the individual is an Italian citizen and resides abroad.

The AIRE certificate is the declaration of the public official in which he certifies the residence or family composition of a specific individual resident in a foreign municipality. The document has value of truthfulness and regularity of the information contained therein as signed by the municipal official and has unlimited value throughout the national territory. To request the AIRE certificate, you must fill out the form by entering the following information:

• name,
• surname,
• date of birth,
• municipality of residence.

The certificate contains the following data: name and surname, tax code, date of birth, municipality and province of registration and foreign residence address. You may have to pay a stamp duty of € 16.00. The certificate is valid for six months from the time of its issue, after which time, it will be necessary to request a new certificate.

1. Subject of the Service
Our service consists of forwarding the request to the competent Municipality on behalf of the Client and following up to ensure the application is processed as soon as possible.

2. Limitation of Liability
The success or failure of the request and the corresponding response times do not depend on our work; they are at the sole discretion and responsibility of the Municipality. Our task is considered complete upon the successful transmission of the request, regardless of the outcome (positive, negative, etc.).

3. Client Awareness
The Client declares to be aware of the possible negative outcomes of the request, including, but not limited to, the inability to obtain the document or the ineligibility of the requesting party.

4. Cost of the Service
The cost of the service exclusively covers our activity of forwarding and managing the request and is not refundable in the event of a negative outcome or delays on the part of the Municipality.

5. Timelines
The processing times indicated in the application are estimated times, as we cannot guarantee a precise date for the application's completion. Response times depend solely on the Municipality and can vary. It will be our job to follow up with the Municipality to obtain the document as soon as possible.
