From whom can the contextual certificate of residence and family status be requested?
The contextual certificate of residence and family status can be requested by anyone in any Italian municipality, provided that the personal data of the individual on whom the document is to be obtained is known and provided that the aforementioned subject has established his residence and that of the his family in an Italian municipality.
To request the contextual certificate of residence and family status, you just need to fill in the form by entering the following information:
- first name;
- surname;
- date of birth;
- Tax ID code
- City of residence;
- Province of residence.
NB it may be necessary to pay a stamp duty of € 16.00
What does the contextual certificate of residence and family status contain?
The data contained in the contextual certificate of residence and family status are not only the residence address of the natural person, but also all the personal data (with indication of the relationship) of the members of the family, in particular:
- Name and surname ;
- Tax ID code;
- Date of birth;
- Municipality and province of residence
- Residential address.

The document (contextual certificate of residence and family status) has the value of truthfulness and regularity of the information contained therein as signed by the municipal official and has unlimited value throughout the national territory.
NB the contextual certificate has a time value of six months from the moment of its issue, after this term, it will be necessary to request a new contextual certificate of residence and family status.
