Processing times

The processing times for the criminal record certificate are 3 working days for the urgent request, while the standard request is processed in 7 working days.

Description

The service request cannot be taken in charge without the completion of the delegation and the presentation of the identification document. Pending the complete receipt of the aforementioned documents, the service times are considered suspended.

The Criminal Record Certificate contains information relating to judicial decisions in criminal, civil and administrative matters. The type of judicial certificate selected determines the information reported. Here is a list of the information reported for each type of certificate:

• General Record Certificate : contains the interested party's data plus the information present in both the civil record certificate and the criminal record certificate, plus administrative offences and sanctions are also reported.

• Civil Record Certificate : reports the interested party's data with the civil judicial provisions attributed to him/her relating to his/her personal capacity (interdiction, incapacity; administration of support, etc.) and any bankruptcies against him/her.

• Criminal Record Certificate : contains the data of the interested party with the convictions and final sentences of criminal proceedings (so-called “criminal record”).

Remember that Criminal Record Certificates are valid for 6 months. After this period, you will need to request a new updated certificate.

1. Subject of the Service
Our service consists of forwarding the request to the competent Municipality on behalf of the Client and following up to ensure the application is processed as soon as possible.

2. Limitation of Liability
The success or failure of the request and the corresponding response times do not depend on our work; they are at the sole discretion and responsibility of the Municipality. Our task is considered complete upon the successful transmission of the request, regardless of the outcome (positive, negative, etc.).

3. Client Awareness
The Client declares to be aware of the possible negative outcomes of the request, including, but not limited to, the inability to obtain the document or the ineligibility of the requesting party.

4. Cost of the Service
The cost of the service exclusively covers our activity of forwarding and managing the request and is not refundable in the event of a negative outcome or delays on the part of the Municipality.

5. Timelines
The processing times indicated in the application are estimated times, as we cannot guarantee a precise date for the application's completion. Response times depend solely on the Municipality and can vary. It will be our job to follow up with the Municipality to obtain the document as soon as possible.
