Processing times
The processing times via EMAIL of our certificates are:
- Approximately 3/7 working days for documents processed urgently (we recommend contacting us to confirm processing times before choosing urgency);
- approximately 15 working days for non-urgent and non-apostilled certificates;
- Approximately 40 working days for certificates with apostille.
The delivery of the document in PAPER format is managed by DHL or Poste Italiane, therefore, we do not assume any responsibility in case of delay or loss of the shipment of the document.

The civil status certificate can be obtained by anyone in any Italian municipality, provided that the personal data of the person for whom the document is to be obtained are known and that such person is resident and has been registered in an Italian municipality.To request a civil status certificate, simply fill out the form by providing the following information:
- Name;
- Surname;
- Date of birth;
- Municipality of residence;
- Province of residence.

The civil status certificate contains the following information:
- Name and Surname;
- Tax ID code;
- Date of birth;
- Municipality and province of residence;
- Residential address.
- Marital status of the person (e.g. single - widower - divorced)
The document has value of truthfulness and regularity of the information contained therein as it is signed by the municipal official and has unlimited value throughout the national territory.
NB The civil status certificate is valid for six months from the time of its issue. After this period, it will be necessary to request a new updated status certificate.
When to request a civil status certificate
The request for a civil status certificate is necessary:
- to get married;
- to open the succession of a deceased spouse;
- The request for a civil status certificate is useful:
- to get a mortgage;
- to complete a real estate sale;
- whenever official certification of the state of freedom (single/widowed/divorced) of a natural person is requested.

1. Subject of the Service
Our service consists of forwarding the request to the competent Municipality on behalf of the Client and following up to ensure the application is processed as soon as possible.
2. Limitation of Liability
The success or failure of the request and the corresponding response times do not depend on our work; they are at the sole discretion and responsibility of the Municipality. Our task is considered complete upon the successful transmission of the request, regardless of the outcome (positive, negative, etc.).
3. Client Awareness
The Client declares to be aware of the possible negative outcomes of the request, including, but not limited to, the inability to obtain the document or the ineligibility of the requesting party.
4. Cost of the Service
The cost of the service exclusively covers our activity of forwarding and managing the request and is not refundable in the event of a negative outcome or delays on the part of the Municipality.
5. Timelines
The processing times indicated in the application are estimated times, as we cannot guarantee a precise date for the application's completion. Response times depend solely on the Municipality and can vary. It will be our job to follow up with the Municipality to obtain the document as soon as possible.
